		Abramova, Ekaterena Ekaterena was born in the small town of Hotkovo in 1979. She received her first art lessons from her father, a famous artist in Eastern Europe best known for his engravings on wood.

		Atkinson, Susan At school art had always been my first love but on leaving school I was encouraged to follow an academic career which led me to a 20 year career in insurance. However I finally came to my senses and enrolled at London Guildhall University in 1998 and in 2001 graduated with a BA Hons in fine art.

		Avataneo, Miguel Miguel Avataneo was born in 1962 in San Cristóbal, Argentina. In 1988 he graduated from La Escuela de Artes de la Universidad Nacional de Córdoba. Avataneo is a painter of images that combine a love of classicism with the South American tradition of magical realism. His images are rooted in the real world of European classicism but are infused with a naturally fantastical element. He has exhibited extensively throughout the United States and South America continues to work in his native country of Argentina.

		Benfield, Gary After leaving the academic world Gary Benfield set up his own studio near London, where he continued to paint and draw. His work has been collected throughout Europe and the US and his reputation as a consummate artist has been firmly established.Drawing plays an integral role in Benfield's images and his background, as an illustrator is clearly evident in much of his work. Fine, sweeping lines combine with washes of colour, suggesting movement and form. He paints with spontaneity and passion, and keeps only the images that he feels are perfected in their conception, rather than overwork those that he feels are not. His images represent a sensual world, a place influenced by mythology and the natural world. Objects and figures intertwine fusing line and colour. We are drawn into an intimate world, where sensuality and delight in life's forms are mixed in fantasy.

		Berber, Mersad Mersad Berber, in his early sixties, is a very talented Bosnian artist who uses a very Renaissance and Baroque style of art to produce true mastetpieces. From 1966 to the present day, Berber has received some fifty arts awards including Banja Luka and Sarajevo City Awards, a number of awards and prizes in Zagreb, Belgrade and Rijeka, as well as significant awards in Dubrovnik and Trieste and the Oslobodenje and ZAVNOBIH awards in 1992.

		Bex, Alexandra After completing her studies at the Berkshire and Chelsea schools of Art, Alexandra joined the film industry and worked as background artist for animated films. It was during these years that she developed her wide range of painting skills, whilst working on many different films, commercials and TV programmes... everything from Beatrix potter to Spitting Image!

		Bolan, - Born into a family of opera singers and musicians, Bolan grew up in a world of classical music and art. He started painting at the age of twelve, and rapidly began to explore different styles and techniques. Bolan has travelled the world extensively, but now lives and works in London.

		BouMansour, Carl Having studied Biochemistry, however feeling life in a lab wasn't for him, Carl briefly flirted with the idea of Biological Illustration, but felt this would compromise both his loves. As a result in 1996 he began studying Illustration to hone his skills as a Figurative Painter. His biological studies added a depth of understanding to the human figures that are prevalent in his works. Since graduating he has been selling original artwork through a variety of local venues, whilst also working as a Portrait Artist and painting Cityscapes for a small corporate client base.

		Brody, BH Born in Chicago, Illinois, I now live in Pennsylvania. As far back as I can remember I have seen everything around me differently than others. After completing five years of art in High School I then went on to the University of Iowa and majored in Graphic Design and Fine Art. After my second year I transferred to the Los Angeles Art Centre School (now 'Pasadena Art Centre School) which was and remains the world's premier school for designers.
